Leadership (5 sessions)

“Leadership Is Not Only About Leading”

Date: To be rescheduled

Time: 7:00 - 8:30 pm

Place: The Ewing Branch of the Mercer County Library System (map)

Description: You don’t have to be a CEO, Director, Manager, “The Big Cheese” to be a leader…you just have to be humble and a GREAT listener. The days of one person screaming orders from the mountaintop and requiring those to follow is no longer the playbook or…. acceptable. With the advent of various technological outlets people find their leadership and/or direction thru many different facets (i.e. facebook, twitter, YouTube, etc), and often times it’s not clear where the true leadership is coming from.

In this course we’ll look at and define what true leadership means and how YOU can be a leader in your own right. If you are indeed responsible for others in a work environment we’ll look at your role as a “leader”, and how to expand your development as a “leader” of people. “Leadership” best practices, tactics and strategies will be reviewed in this course and you’ll walk away not only being the best “leader” you can be…but the BEST person you can be.
