Optimism, Mindfulness, and Well-Being
Most of us rely on optimism, consciously and unconsciously (even without being aware of the advancement in positive psychology). However, optimism is often associated with biases and thus can also be seen as illusion. Then, it would be interesting to contrast optimism with mindfulness, an attitude to see things as they really are. For our well-being, where should we position ourselves?
